The role of teaching assistant across the Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of a class teacher and our Inclusion Coordinator. The Teaching Assistant – Maths will work as part of the maths department to support intervention with students who require additional mentoring, this will involve delivering intervention programmes to individuals and small groups, preparing relevant and appropriate learning experiences in conjunction with the maths department.
