We are delighted to be making an appointment for the position of HR Assistant for our new 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire due to convert in the near future to - Outwood Academy Easingwold.

We are currently seeking a confident individual to join our academy as a HR Assistant within a fast paced working environment. We are looking for someone who is very organised and can work both independently and as a team member, who is able to conduct one's self in a smart, professional and courteous manner.

The successful applicant will have significant previous HR/Payroll experience and be able to deal with confidential and sensitive information. A large part of this role will involve administering the full recruitment process including pre-employment checks for all new staff and keeping up to date and accurate records for all staff absences. They will also be responsible for the payroll function for the academy ensuring payroll is accurate and produced for Finance in a timely manner.

Strong up to date Microsoft Office and Excel skills are essential for this role as there is a lot of reporting in Excel. Good working knowledge of Corero (Civica) Finance System would be desirable but not essential.
