Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Performing Arts with a music specialism looking for promotion or a new challenge to really make a difference to young people’s lives?

We are seeking applications for a Head of Performing Arts with the drive and vision, to deliver excellence in our Performing Arts department at a time of changes at GCSE. A candidate with a clear focus on outstanding outcomes for students, you will ensure effective teaching and learning is in place in Performing Arts to rapidly raise standards at GCSE.

Outwood Academy Ripon, achieved a progress score of 0.83; 75% of students passed with level 4-9 in English and Maths. 91.2% students passed with level 4-9 in Maths and 79% passed with level 4-9 in English. We are looking for an inspiring head of department specialising in Music who has high aspirations for both staff and students, who is committed, and passionate about music and performing arts. Leadership experience is not essential, but applicants must be able to demonstrate the skills required to lead a department.
