Outwood Academy Foxhills, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire is within easy reach of Lincoln, Grimsby and the east of Doncaster. This year the Academy celebrated its best results ever and in its most recent Ofsted inspection in January 2016 was graded Good with Outstanding for Leadership and Management.
Required to start as soon as possible, we have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant incorporating EAL support to join our team. The successful candidate will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision with a focus on EAL support. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups and monitoring pupils; assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development.
You will contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support in a school which promotes equality, and values the diversity of the school community.
