Outwood Grange Academies Trust seeks an outstanding software engineer to develop and deliver software solutions to meet the needs of an innovative and expanding organisation.

The software and web team, in conjunction with the data services and ICT teams, provide bespoke solutions to track attainment, behaviour, KPIs, manage websites and automate business processes. Our systems are used daily by thousands of staff members and tens of thousands of students and parents, and are delivered in an agile manner to meet the changing needs of a rapidly expanding organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering cost effective solutions to specification and on schedule, and be comfortable in participating in an agile software development workflow from requirements gathering and design, through to implementation, testing, and deployment.

With the majority of our systems designed to be accessed simultaneously across many sites and devices, you should have experience of delivering scalable web based solutions, ideally with demonstrable experience in Ruby on Rails (although training and CPD will be provided).
