We wish to appoint, 2 Teaching Assistants to our Inclusion team you will work closely with students to develop their learning and progress. We have 2 fixed term positions.

The purpose of this role is to carry out a range of duties to enable students with learning, behavioural and emotional needs to fully access standard and differentiated curriculum activities. This is a very rewarding role and the post holders also work closely with all other members of the Inclusion team to promote high standards of inclusion and learning outcomes. Additionally there are opportunities to develop ones experience and skills to progress within the department.

As an experienced Teaching Assistant you will be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. It would be advantageous to be qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent and have experience of supporting students with specific needs. Experience of testing for access arrangements would be an advantage.

Duties will include:
• Working with the teacher to facilitate the teaching and learning of students with SEN
• Planning and producing accurate reports, analysing data to contribute to reviews and target setting as necessary.
• Responsible for the use and upkeep of all equipment used by individual students to support their learning needs.
• Undertake 1: and small group work and withdrawal support as necessary.
• Liaise with parents, outside agencies and other professionals as necessary.
• Monitor individual pupil’s conditions and concerns, and report as necessary.
