This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be involved in a new Performing Arts department. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher who will be dedicated to the promotion of performing arts in the academy and wider community.
A commitment to the extra curriculum life of the academy is a prerequisite for this role. This post is temporary in the first instance for 2019/20, subject to curriculum demand in 2020/21, there is potential for this role to be permanent in the future.

You will be well supported by an experienced team of teachers and Directors as you work to raise attainment levels and offer an engaging curriculum experience. The Academy benefits from being part of the Outwood Family of Schools, which affords opportunities for
staff to work and progress across several schools if desired. All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools.
This is a full time post although part time at 0.60 will be considered.
