An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and talented teaching assistant to support in our new Behaviour for Learning Hub.
Outwood Academy Acklam is seeking to appoint a reliable, dynamic, and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students and promote a positive learning environment in our off-site Behaviour for Learning Hub, working alongside our Hub Manager.
Working in the hub is an incredible opportunity to support disaffected and vulnerable students. You will be instrumental in re-engaging them and improving their academic performance. The successful candidate needs to be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
The ideal candidate will be able to establish good relationships with students, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding accordingly to their individual needs. You will need confidence in communicating with a range of different stakeholders.
Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team.
