We are delighted to be making an appointment for the position of PLC Manager (Personalised Learning Centre Manager) for our high achieving 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire - Outwood Academy Easingwold.

The PLC Manager will manage the personalised learning centre and work as part of the team to promote the learning and welfare of students working closely with subject leaders and the SEND department. The post holder will ensure that all identified cohorts of students are provided with personalised interventions that ensure progress.

You need to have a real desire to make a difference to children’s lives but also have a firm but fair manner as you may be dealing with students who struggle to modify their behaviour and require clear boundaries. You will also need to build relationships with external agencies that can support students who have a variety of external barriers that impact on their learning.

You will contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, optimism, celebration and mutual support in the school which promotes equality within, and values the diversity of the school community.
