Do you want to work in a good school where leadership is highly effective, students feel safe, staff are proud and morale is extremely high? - Ofsted 2019
Outwood Grange Academies Trust seeks applications from outstanding applicants with integrity, imagination and energy for this rewarding role.
Outwood Academy Acklam places students at the centre of everything it does, with a focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, and increased student attainment, achievement and social and emotional development.
Are you a KS2 primary mathematics specialist or aspiring to be so? This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic primary teacher with a desire to expand their teaching for mastery in the transition from KS2 to KS3. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential but you do not have to have a degree in maths. Our KS3 curriculum focuses on Teaching for Understanding (Mastery) and ensures we focus on depth of understanding rather than acceleration, meaning that our students get a true understanding of Maths at their level before moving on.
Our Executive Director leads the Yorkshire and Humber Maths Hub. This, as well as her work with the Dfe means OGAT Maths is helping to inform and mould the landscape of Maths, regionally and nationally.
We welcome applications from teachers of any experience, who love their subject and have a passion to develop this in others. You could progress quickly across our Family of Schools if that was what you were looking for, through maths leadership or through our Deeps structure; but, if you just want to be the best teacher you can be, then we are also the Trust for you!
You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’. Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals.
All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure. Outwood Grange Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect staff to share this commitment. All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
