Outwood Grange Academies Trust seeks applications from outstanding applicants with integrity, imagination and energy for this rewarding role.
We believe that all support staff within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of securing student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious individuals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspirational DT Technician with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting. As a DT Technician you will support the DT department in the preparation for lessons and assist with practical lessons when required. To assist teachers and support teaching and learning you will be required to work with small groups of students.
You should have Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent and be keen to undergo further development/education. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
In line with the Government’s announcement, our academy is closed until further notice. However, we are still busily planning ahead for the forthcoming academic year and are excited about welcoming new recruits to come and join us. In place of academy based interviews, we have set up systems to ensure that alternative options are still available via skype/video conferencing wherever possible. Every effort will be made to try and accommodate any specific requirements so that no-one is at a disadvantage. Understandably, visits to the school are not possible at present, however we are really keen to ensure that you have as much information to proceed with your application as possible, so if you would like a conversation about either the academy or the position please contact Marion Leather at email@example.com and we will be happy to assist.
The Outwood Grange Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
