Outwood Grange Academies Trust seeks applications from outstanding applicants with integrity, imagination and energy for this rewarding role.
We are looking to appoint a teacher of Computer Science. The post is a key appointment in terms of enhancing and ensuring the positive life chances for our students through success and achievement.
As such we are keen to recruit a dedicated and ambitious professional who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
The person we are seeking to appoint will be dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated in making the best use of the state of the art facilities our Trust can offer in order to develop the life chances of our young people through inspirational and successful Computer Science teaching.
We have a great training package for NQTs and teachers new to the academy including: Computer Science Matters; Computer Science TSST; weekly professional development time and further programmes free through the Outwood Institute of Education. We invest in you so you invest in our students.
We welcome applications for our central region region of the Trust from teachers of any experience, who love their subject and have a passion to develop this in others. You could progress quickly across our Family of Schools if that was what you were looking for, through subject leadership or through our Deeps structure; but, if you just want to be the best teacher you can be, then we are also the Trust for you!
Applications for these posts will be considered for any vacancies at the following academies. This will be discussed with you in more detail at the interview and you will be given the opportunity to express your preference(s):
• Outwood Grange Academy
• Outwood Academy Carlton
• Outwood Academy Shafton
• Outwood Academy Hemsworth
• Outwood Academy City Fields
• Outwood Academy Freeston
Please be reassured that you will not be placed in an academy without your agreement.
In line with the Government’s announcement, our academies are closed until further notice. However, we are still busily planning ahead for the forthcoming academic year and are excited about welcoming new recruits to come and join us. In place of academy based interviews, we have set up systems to ensure that alternative options are still available via skype/video conferencing wherever possible. Every effort will be made to try and accommodate any specific requirements so that no-one is at a disadvantage. Understandably, visits to the school are not possible at present, however we are really keen to ensure that you have as much information to proceed with your application as possible, so if you would like a conversation about either the academies or the position please email Tristan Kirkpatrick, firstname.lastname@example.org and he will be happy to assist.
The Outwood Grange Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
